MDS Fuerteventura 2024 - sixth edition of the event
It was first introduced in 2017, making it a newer addition to the MDS series compared to the flagship event in the Sahara Desert.
The Fuerteventura edition maintains the challenging desert format while offering unique landscapes in the Canary Islands.
The MDS attracts participants from all over the world
The MDS is a multi-stage, self-sufficient ultra-marathon held in the breathtaking desert landscapes of Fuerteventura. Participants face 70 to 120 kilometers of rugged terrain, scorching heat, and fierce winds – all while carrying their food, gear, and survival essentials on their backs. 🏜️
